I am quoting this from a comment left on the website Positive Atmosphere.  Wouldn’t it be great if we all could apply this to our lives. I believe we would see great changes in all aspects of our being if only we could convince ourselves of the power of a positive attitude.. A positive mind anticipates happiness, joy, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action. Read the following quote and see how easy it is to make the choice to be positive.

One thing that I’ve always remembered is that with everything  you have a choice. Everything you say, everything you hear, everything you do are all choices. If someone says to you ‘You look really good today,’ you can choose to respond positively ‘Thank you!’ and think to yourself how nice that was….or you can respond negatively ‘are you kidding? and think to yourself, they are just saying that.’

Each response generates a reaction. The positive response leads you to smile, stand up straighter, and maybe even do or say something kind to someone else, and carrying on the positive energy.

The negative response leaves you feeling down, and generates more negative thinking, making you feel even worse.

It’s quite amazing the affect that a single positive comment or thought can have on not only you, but on those around you!”

Both positive and negative attitudes are contagious. I suggest we all try to choose the positive path!
