Makes you appreciate the warm days that much more. Not as many people want to live up here 'because' of the cold, so we are not as crowded as many of the places down South. I'll put up with those winters just so, on occasion, I can drive down a road for hours without seeing another car. Something I found almost impossible to do when living in the South.
